The ioDESKTOP application is now available for download! With this new app you can listen to radioio straight from your desktop without having to have your internet browser open. Have all of your favorite stations in ONE place using a nicely designed compact piece of “desk candy”. Depending on your subscription level, you can listen to 64k, 128k, or high fidelity 192K streams!
With the new ioDESKTOP app you can:
- Listen to radioio WITHOUT having to have an internet browser open.
- Have easier account access
- Stay logged in
- Change music channels in seconds
- Have access to a wealth of info including recently played songs and soon the ability to “tweet”, buy and rate music.
- Be able collapse and minimize to your liking.
Note: Once you have downloaded the free ioDesktop App, you will need to have either a (free) registered email / password, or an iosubscription to hear the channels.

Because the ioDesktop app runs on Adobe Air, you may have to allow the app Adobe Air to be installed as part of your installation process. This happens naturally, if your computer does not already have it installed.
1When you click the install button, you should see the application loading
2 When asked what you would like to do with the file, select “Open”
3 If you see this screen, feel free to confirm that you would like the application to be installed, by clicking “Confirm”. If you see this screen, it simply means the computer is having a jard time reading the certificate for the radioio app.
4 On this screen you have the opportunity to locate where you’d like the ioDesktop app to be saved. The default is the “Applications” folder. Click “Continue”. The checkbox for ‘Start application after installation’ should be checked. Unless you uncheck this, the App will launch once you have clicked “Continue.”
5 The Application should launch, and you shoudl see the login screen. Use either your registration or subscription information to login and enjoy the music.
