Dr. Michael Matheny

Dr. Michael Matheny serves as music educator, clinician, composer, and consultant for high schools and colleges across America. His first radio broadcasting experience came in 1974 at campus station WGWG/Gardner Webb University. During the early 80s he co-hosted a jazz show at WKBC-FM in Wilkesboro, NC with former student and radioio founder Mike Roe, and in 2002, he developed radioio’s first jazz station. He currently programs jazz and classical music.
