It seems like the ladies are in the minority this season as another female was left waving goodbye last week on American Idol. That leaves one young lady left, Syesha Mercado, who has consistently been in the bottom three for weeks but has managed to escape.

Hello AI watchers, listeners and fans. It's great to be back and to offer my insight as to what happened on last week's show. As the contestants start to dwindle, the competition is truly getting cutthroat and the judges have been offering more criticism than before. While a few of the performers really don't seem to ever be affected by the voting, others are consistently in the bottom. And, this week, there was not really a change in pattern. She's done the usual perfect set-ups - huge first single, key public and tv appearances (including a well-timed stint on American Idol), all prior to the album's release.
