Welcome to radioio (“radio EYE-OH, to denote “Internet-only”). As one of the Internet’s first music webcasters, we’re dedicated to superior, Internet-only and mobile music streaming. We hope you’ll think of us as a good friend who knows what you like, and is always ready to introduce you to something else we know you’ll dig, too.
What makes us special?
radioio is made for individuals, by individuals. Each radioio music stream (or “channel”) is an independent, original creation that you won’t find anywhere else, featuring hand-picked music sets crafted by our stream hosts – not computers. Get to know the real people behind our music streams, who are basically other music enthusiasts like you (but with much larger music collections). They know that you want just the right music whenever you feel like it, wherever you are, and are always ready to respond to your comments, questions or requests.
When did you start?
We’ve actually been around the Internet radio block a bit longer than most, as we started in the rough and tumble frontier of Internet radio in the late ‘90s, based in the spare bedroom of our founder, Mike Roe. Mike didn’t know anything about radio or webcasting, but he loved to play and share music, so he started his own single music stream, called radioio (that has now evolved into our Eclectic music stream, which he still programs). As his vision and radioio grew, Mike sought other music lovers who shared his philosophy of intelligent music programming that never underestimates the listener.

Our parent company, ioWorld Media, Inc. (OTCPK: IWDM) is dedicated to identifying, testing and marketing innovative consumer media alternatives. ioWorld Media currently also owns io4business.com, the innovative custom background music and messaging service for businesses.
IO4BUSINESS
io4business is a subsidiary of IOWorld Media, Inc. (as is radioio.com) and was developed in 2009 as a customized background music and messaging service for business. It can be easily ordered online and does not require any contracts. Customers can choose from 45 hand-curated music programs designed specifically for businesses or io4business will create a custom radio station for your brand. It is also a green and efficient way to legally play music in a business or establishment and is especially suited for multiple locations such as specialty retail and department stores, convenience stores, offices, restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, casinos, showrooms, spas and salons.
All io4business music packages require a one-time purchase of an easy to install streaming media player. io4business will identify and hand-select the most appropriate music and artists for a specific clientele. All music licensing fees are included. io4business can also insert customized elements such as unique company IDs or other messaging. Current music packages start at $34.95/month.
